Today I feel like a scarlet lady-
Very skinny and appeeling.
Oh my bright star,
You have kissed me and given me bright feathery angel wings
As I ran to you.
I burn in the light of your affections.
You make me feel like I am falling apart,
But still, my body rejects
Your warm embrace.
It hurts, it hurts to feel
What you make me feel,
And yet,
I cannot live without your presence.
And so, I've learned my lesson -
I'm not forgetting sunscreen again.
